Wednesday season 2 nearly breaks its own previous record
The half released Netflix blockbuster series Wednesday season 2 has already broken its prequel’s record in just five days.
Wednesday season one was premiered three years back in 2022. The viewership numbers revealed the release of the first part of season 2 on 6th of Aug breaking its own previous records.
According to Netflix, Wednesday season 2 part 1 gathered 50 million views, which mean about 201.6 million hours viewed, in just the first five days.
The interesting thing is that the half released season so far has match the debut numbers of the full released eight-episode first season back in November 2022.
Wednesday season 1 had raked 50.1 million views and 341.1 million hours viewed in its first five days of release on Netflix. The first season gathered another 8.6 million views this week.
Wednesday is an American supernatural mystery comedy series based on the character Wednesday Addams by Charles Addams.
It stars Jenna Ortega as the main character playing Wednesday Addams, with Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan and Percy Hynes White.
The story actually revolves around Wednesday Addams attempting to solve a murder mystery at her new school.
