FIA books 258 foreigners staying illegally in Islamabad
The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Cell has registered cases against 258 foreigners staying illegally in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to FIA spokesperson, the foreign residents were illegally staying in Pakistan despite their visas having expired.
FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad has started investigation and action as a result of its crackdown.
The raid team checked various residences and guest houses in Islamabad and passport data of 258 illegally staying foreigners was checked during crackdown.
Case registered under Foreigners Act against those without visas and involved in illegal activities.
FIA obtained records of all foreigners with the help of Integrated Border Management System.
Investigation teams were ordered to immediately arrest all the named persons and conduct further investigation.
