Police officer’s blood-soaked body found in Rawalpindi

Body of a police officer posted in the Special Branch was found in a blood-soaked state in a room in the Ratta Amral area of Rawalpindi police station on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the police, the body of SI Akram appeared to be a day old and there were marks of a sharp instrument on him.
Sub-Inspector Akram, posted in the Special Branch, was residing in a sitting room in Chhota Chowk, Dhok Hasso.
On receiving information, police and Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital.
The police started collecting evidence from the scene.
