Authorities in Lahore to punish one catering company

The Punjab government has decided to lodge FIR against a catering company in Lahore that provided chairs for the opposition’s PDM rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The TV channel reported that the decision has been made to file a case against Toyo Nasak, a company that provided chairs despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the TV channel reported.
The Punjab government has remained successful on a strategy executed by the Lahore district administration about tackling the catering service companies.
As many as 343 caterers of the city have submitted affidavits regarding non-provision of chairs, the TV channel reported, quoting its sources.
After failing to convince any catering service in the metropolis the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) bought 7,000 new chairs.
Several caravans of 11 opposition parties’ alliance under the umbrella of Pakistan Democratic Movement from various cities are heading towards the historic Minar-e-Pakistan for the PDM power show.
