Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Fawad Chaudhry and Asad Umer have raised concern over life threats to PTI leader Murad Saeed and demanded strong measures to ensure his security, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Fawad said that Murad is being threatened by unidentified persons for the last month. He said that once a task was given to a local terror group to assassinate him. He said that Murad has apprised President Arif Alvi of these life threats.

Fawad said that slain journalist Arshad Sharif and Murad had a very strong relationship and those who killed Arshad wanted to assassinate Murad too.

On the other hand, Asad Umer said that Murad is an asset to the country and a young politician who fights the case of Pakistan with logic and passion. He said that he hopes that the president will order every possible action to address the dangers Murad highlighted in his letter written to the president regarding threats to his life.
