China's leadership has pledged greater efforts to support the country's flagging real estate sector, state media reported Tuesday.
Top officials pledged to "actively yet safely defuse risks in the real estate sector", including to small- and medium-sized financial institutions, and "meet the reasonable financing needs of real estate enterprises", state broadcaster CCTV said in a readout from an important economic meeting this week.
