CAA inks MoU with America’s FAA for restoration of flight operation to US 

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is working hard to restore flight services to US and in this respect, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) ha singed Memorandum of Understanding with America’s Federal Aviation Administration, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Director General Civil Aviation Authority Nadir Shafi Dar told media that under the MoU due finical affairs were being settled and PIA was going to pay the dues to FAA. After the payment of dues, FAA delegation is likely to visit Pakistan in February or March 2025. 

DG Civil Aviation Authority hoped that after the agreement, PIA’s ranking will improve under FAA. 

PIA spokesman said that PIA's flights to US were stopped in 2017. 6 flights were operated from Pakistan to America in a week. Four flights a week were operated to New York and two flights to Chicago.
