NADRA sacks DG Zulfikar Ahmed over fake MBA degree

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has sacked its Director General from service after his MBA degree could not be verified by the concerned US university, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

NADRA has dismissed Director General Zulfikar Ahmed from service because his MBA degree was not signed by the President of George Mason University US. According to detail, name of the college given at the BBA degree could not be verified at the time of issuance of the degree. 

Earlier, on the request of NADRA, the Higher Education Commission conducted an inquiry and verified the information obtained by NADRA. 

Islamabad High Court also upheld the HEC's decision to cancel the equivalent degree because Zulfiqar Ahmed failed to give any satisfactory reply to the show-cause notice issued by NADRA. 

Chairman NADRA took disciplinary action against Zulfikar Ahmed on the High Court's decision and unsatisfactory response in the statement of reasons.
