Over 7,000 FESCO meters revealed faulty

It has been revealed that more than 7,000 meters of consumers in Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) are faulty, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Such out of order meters have exposed the flaws in FESCO's transmission system while the company has failed to replace faulty meters on time.
The faulty or damaged meters deprived the customers of accurate billing.
On average, more than 1,000 meters started getting damaged in FESCO every month.
Billing system affected by faulty meters which cause serious concern among customers.
