Field Marshal gives away prizes at 35th National Games in Karachi
Bilawal, gifts Sindhi Ajrak and cap to COAS and CDF Asim Munir
The 35th National Games, 2025 concluded in Karachi on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir attended the closing ceremony as a chief guest.
Pakistan Army stood out by winning 196 gold medals, while WAPDA stood second with 84 gold medals to its credit.
Similarly, Pakistan Navy stood on the third position with 36 gold medals, while Punjab was at the fourth position by winning 16 gold medals.
Sindh could manage 11 gold medals.
Later, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that athletes in the National Games demonstrated that they were second to none when it came to talent.
He expressed the hope that these athletes would go on to become the ambassadors of Pakistan in years to come.
He further said that under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan successfully defended its sovereignty during the military confrontation against India.
Bilawal, on the occasion, gifted Sindhi Ajrak and cap to the field marshal.
