Sunni Tehreek leader Sarwat Ijaz Qadri released by police after brief detention

Sarwat Ijaz Qadri, a central leader of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, has been released by the police, party sources confirmed on Saturday.

According to Tayyab Qadri, Sarwat Ijaz Qadri is on his way home following his release. The circumstances leading to his detention have not yet been disclosed.

The Pakistan Sunni Tehreek has announced that it will hold an emergency press conference later today to address the matter and provide further details regarding the release of their leader.
