Interior Minister Naqvi visits Pakistan Coast Guard headquarters in Karachi

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the headquarters of the Pakistan Coast Guards in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Director General (DG) Pakistan Coast Guards Major General Jawad Riaz welcomed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. 

On this occasion, the officers of the Pakistan Coast Guards were introduced to the Federal Interior Minister. 

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited the Pakistan Coast Guards' memorial and laid flowers and offered Fateha for the martyrs and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs. 

During his visit, an important meeting was held at the Pakistan Coast Guards headquarters under the chairmanship of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. 

The briefing was informed that during the last five months, the Pakistan Coast Guards have seized drugs, smuggled and other prohibited items worth $315 million during various operations.
