Malik Liaquat to replace Rana Jabbar as AJK Police chief

The federal government has decided to appoint senior police officer Captain (retd) Malik Liaquat Ali as the new Inspector General (IG) of Azad Kashmir Police.

Currently serving as a DIG in the Punjab Police, Captain (retd) Malik Liaquat Ali will replace IG Police Rana Abdul Jabbar, who is presently attending the National Management Course.

Reliable sources confirmed that the federal government has finalized the decision to transfer Malik Liaquat Ali from Punjab to lead the Azad Kashmir Police, reflecting a reshuffle at senior levels of the police administration.

This appointment is expected to bring experienced leadership to the force in Azad Kashmir, with Captain (retd) Malik Liaquat Ali taking charge in the coming days.
