Pakistan coronavirus positivity ratio stands at 5.38 percent

The coronavirus positivity ratio in Pakistan stood at 5.38 percent on Wednesday, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) said.
According to the latest NCOC figures, as of January 13, the highest positivity ratio was recorded in Karachi 14.56 percent, followed by Peshawar 9.92 percent and Mirpur 8.33 percent.
The number of patients in serious condition is rising fast in Pakistan as 2,366 Covid patients were critical across the country.
The positivity ratio in various federating units was: AJK 5.43%, Balochistan is 7.39%, GB 0.00%, Islamabad 2.14%, KP 6.25%, Punjab 3.63% and Sindh 8.47%.
The province-wise Covid positivity ratio was as under:
Punjab: Bahawalpur 3.59%, Faisalabad 3.62%, Gujranwala 2.65%, Lahore 5.96%, Rawalpindi 1.90%, Multan 2.73%.
Sindh: Karachi 14.56%, Hyderabad 7.76%.
KP: Peshawar 9.92%, Abbottabad 1.82%, Swat 3.52%.
Balochistan: Quetta 8.04%.
Islamabad: ICT 2.14%.
AJK: Mirpur 8.33%, Muzaffarabad 1.35%.
