The Lahore High Court has ordered to produce the brother and nephew of the main accused involved in the assassination bid on PTI Chairman Imran Khan during his long march in Wazirabad in November last year, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

LHC Justice Alia Neelum on Friday heard a petition challenging the illegal confinement of accused Naveed’s brother and nephew in a case of gun attack on Imran Khan. 

The petition was filed by the wife of accused Naveed.

The petitioner said that police have illegally detained the brother and nephew of Naveed. Police have not revealed the arrest of the accused’s kin, she claimed. 

She prayed to the court to order police to release Naveed’s brother Shafiq and nephew Ali Raza from their illegal confinement. 

The court ordered Gujranwala RPO to produce both the alleged accused before the court on January 16.
