PTI unveils candidates for upcoming elections

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the list of its candidates for the upcoming general elections, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

Umar Ayub Khan will contest from Haripur while Asad Qaiser will be PTI's candidate from Swabi

Former PTI minister Ijaz Shah will contest from NA-112 Nankana Sahib.

Senior PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari did not get a ticket from NA-50.

Former Punjab health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid got the PTI ticket to partake in the election from NA 130 Lahore.

Lucky Marwat, Sher Afzal Marwat will contest the election on the PTI ticket and Asad Qaiser from NA-19.

From Attock,  Major (r) Tahir Sadiq and his daughter Iman Tahir will be PTI candidates for NA 49 and NA 50 respectively.

Alia Hamza will partake in the election on the PTI Ticket from Lahore and Latif Khosa from NA-122

From Sialkot, the PTI finalized the names of candidates for the four National Assembly seats while one name is yet to be finalized.

According to the released list, the decision on NA-74 has been pending. In the election 2018, the ticket of NA-74 was given to Aslam Ghumman but he was defeated by PML-N candidate Rana Shamim by a huge margin. Also, the party has not unveiled the names of its candidates from NA-131 and NA-132 so far. 

Meanwhile, the party released its candidate for the Punjab Assembly polls. PP-213 ticket issued to Khalid Javed Waraich,   Waseem Khan will contest from PP-214, Moinuddin Riaz Qureshi from PP 215, Malik Adnan Dogar from PP 216, Nadeem Qureshi from PP 217, Mian Irfan from PP-221, Ayaz Bodla from PP 222 and Ayub Ghul from PP-224. Similarly, it released the list of its candidates from other provinces.
