3 mentally-ill girls among six die in two fire incidents in Punjab
Six people including three mentally-ill girls lost their lives in two different fire incidents in Punjab on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The first incident occurred in Arifwala, in which a woman and her two children died while her husband received severe burn injuries when their house caught fire due to gas leakage.
Soon after receiving the report, a Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured person to Sahiwal Hospital.
The deceased were identified as Safia, 26, Gulshan, 3, and Fazilat, who was one year old.
Rescue personnel said that the fire erupted while lighting a stove with a gas cylinder in the room.
In the second incident in Karor Lal Esan, a town located near Layyah, three mentally-ill girls died when a fire broke out in their room.
The dead girls were identified as Dua Fatima, Javaria, and Dua.
