Govt okays plan to create job opportunities for youth in Gulf, Europe

As part of its plan to create job opportunities for the youth in Gulf and Europe, the government has approved granting of overseas employment promoter (OEP) licenses to TEVTA, PVTC and PSDF, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The officials have said that the license will eliminate the role of private agents who exploit the youth seeking jobs abroad.
The entire process of placement will be done under the watch of the government and will be transparent.
The officials have further said that under the chief minister’s Parwaz Card, there will be skill verification and financial assistance of the youth.
They have informed that the decision has been taken under the Immigration Ordinance, 1979.
