PIA announces Private Hajj 2026 fares in dollar equivalent
Sets new baggage limits for Hajj pilgrims: Fares to be paid in Pakistani rupees equal to US dollars: Booking opens with a non-refundable 10% advance
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced its private-sector fares for Hajj 2026, with payments to be made in Pakistani rupees equivalent to the value of the US dollar.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the national flag carrier has released full details of the fare structure along with the relevant rules.
Under the new policy, passengers travelling in executive economy class will be allowed 46 kilograms of checked baggage and seven kilograms of hand-carry luggage.
Economy-class pilgrims will be permitted 40 kilograms of checked baggage and seven kilograms of hand-carry.
The minimum 40-day Hajj fare from Karachi to Jeddah, excluding taxes, has been set at 750 dollars.
The fare from Lahore and Islamabad to Jeddah and Madinah will be 800 dollars before tax.
In the second category, referred to as the shoulder season, fares from Karachi to Jeddah and Madinah will be 950 dollars, while the Lahore–Jeddah peak-season fare will be 1,000 dollars.
The last flights from Karachi will cost 1,150 dollars, and fares from Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Peshawar to Jeddah and Madinah have been fixed at 1,200 dollars excluding taxes.
According to PIA, bookings for Hajj 2026 can be made with a non-refundable ten percent advance payment.
