Several flights cancelled at Islamabad, Karachi airports due to bad weather

Inclement weather resulted in the cancellation of several flights at Islamabad and Karachi International Airports on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Fly Jinnah’s flight from Islamabad to Jeddah and AirSial’s flight bound for Sukkur were cancelled after fog resulted in poor visibility at the airport’s runway.

Similarly, PIA’s Gilgit-bound flights, PK-201 and PK-603, and the airline’s flight to Skardu, PK-451, had also to be cancelled.

Likewise, flights heading to Chinese city of Ürümqi, Istanbul and Tehran were cancelled as well.

Qatar Airways Doha-bound flight was delayed by over one hour.

Fly Jinnah’s and AirSial’s flights heading to Karachi were also delayed.

AirSial’s Riyadh-bound flight was delayed by two hours, while Emirates Dubai-bound flight left Islamabad after a delay by one hour.

Seven flights cancelled at Karachi Airport

Also on Tuesday, seven flights were cancelled at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport due to different technical and operational reasons.

Airplane’s flight, D-7109, heading from Karachi to Kuala Lumpur, and the airline’s Adis Ababa-bound flight, ET-695, were cancelled.

Two flights of AirSial, heading from Karachi to Lahore, PF-143 and PF-145, were cancelled as well.

The airline’s Islamabad-bound flight, PF-123, was also cancelled.

Airblue’s flight, from Karachi to Lahore, PA-402, and PIA’s flight, from Karachi to Lahore, PK-306, were cancelled as well.
