Pakistan, China to ink agreement for cooperation in education sector
Pakistan and China have decided to ink an agreement for cooperation in the education sector, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Quoting its sources, the channel reported that the federal cabinet had given a go ahead signal to the National Defence University to sign an agreement with China’s Grandview Institution for the purpose.
Sources further told 24News TV channel that neither the Foreign Ministry nor the Directorate General of the ISI had objected to the federal government’s decision.
They disclosed that the Ministry of Education and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan had also supported the decision.
They informed that Ministry of Law and Justice had also ratified draft of the agreement.
Under the agreement, sources elaborated, both the institutions would cooperate in the field of education, including research.
