Gold prices fall sharply in Pakistan as global rates decline
Gold prices declined in Pakistan on Monday in line with a fall in international bullion rates, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
According to the Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (PGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs3,800, bringing the new rate down to Rs429,736.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs3,258 to Rs368,429.
On Saturday, the gold price per tola reached Rs433,536 after a gain of Rs1,100 during the day.
The international rate of gold declined by $38 to reach $4,073 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs 123 to reach Rs 6,339 per tola.
