Goods transporters announce protest over rising taxes

Goods transporters in Faisalabad have announced to stage a protest against the increasing token and toll taxes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to Chairman of the Mini Mazda Association Chaudhry Aslam, mini-goods transporters have called for a protest on 21st July. He said that the protest is being organized to demand a reduction in token and toll taxes.
He also added that the association does not wish to resort to a strike and urged the government to seriously consider their demands.
Chaudhry Aslam warned that if the demands remain unaddressed, the association will announce its next course of action following the protest.
