Pakistani actress Inaya Khan opens up about her 'relationship' with Afghan cricketer
Pakistani actress Inaya Khan recently opened up about her interaction with Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan.
Speaking to Mathira on The 21mm Show, Inaya Khan said she met Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan on SnapChat through a mutual friend and she occasionally chats with him on social media.
When asked if she was in love with the cricketer, Inaya Khan said he was already married. She clarified that he did not ask her out or anything like that.
Responding to the host’s question about the type of communication that takes place between Inaya and Rashid Khan, Inaya said they just exchange pleasantries and she occasionally gives him a shout out when he performs in a match.
When Mathira asked Inaya to spell the features she would like to see in her ideal man, Inaya said she likes tall, decent and quiet men. She said that she does not like talkative men.
Inaya Khan recently said that she deliberately avoids reading comments left by male followers on her Instagram posts.
During an appearance on talk show, the Mere Apne actor revealed that although a large portion of her Instagram followers appears to be women, many are actually men using female profiles.
“I don’t read comments from boys,” Inaya said, adding that her cousins usually inform her which comments are genuinely from female followers. “I only read the comments posted by girls,” she clarified, noting that she avoids engaging with male followers' messages.
When asked about the nature of messages she receives on social media, Inaya laughed, saying that some users go as far as calling her their "wife." “I’m single and happy with that right now,” she quipped.
Speaking about marriage, Inaya explained that while she’s open to tying the knot in the future, it’s not her current priority. “I’ll get married when I feel ready. For now, it's not something I’m focused on,” she said.
Inaya also shared her love for traditional attire, especially sarees. She revealed that her mother taught her how to drape and manage the outfit properly, which contributed to her appreciation of the elegant garment.
In an earlier episode of the same show, Inaya candidly spoke about her celebrity crushes, naming actors Mikaal Zulfiqar and Feroze Khan.
Referring to Jaisay Aapki Marzi star Mikaal Zulfiqar, she said, “I like his personality—it’s very decent. He’s the kind of man I’d want as a life partner, someone who fits my ideal.”
Inaya also described some of the traits she values in a future husband, listing loyalty and a caring nature as must-haves.
The rising star made her acting debut in ARY Digital’s drama serial Khoat and quickly became a familiar face in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Her breakout role in the family drama Mere Apne further cemented her place in the spotlight.
