Govt hikes jet fuel price by Rs12.32 per litre

The jet fuel price in Pakistan has increased following a fresh revision after kerosene oil rate adjustment upwards, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The price of jet fuel used in aircraft has been raised by Rs12.32 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs295.84 per litre. Previously, it was priced at Rs283.52 per litre.
On the other side, the federal government increased the levy on high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs8 per litre.
Levy on diesel is also increased from Rs44.59 per liter to Rs.53.26 per liter. The prices were increased only for one week.
The federal government also decreased the levy on petrol by Rs9.24 per liter.
