Rs14.15 cut proposed in petrol price

Hopes of big relief in petroleum prices have taken roots as the government was due to announced revised rates on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to sources, a cut of Rs14.15 per litre was proposed in the price of petrol while Rs8.70 decrease was recommended in high-speed diesel rate.
It was also suggested to reduce the kerosene oil price by Rs10.33 per litre and light diesel byRs7.12.
The new prices will be announced on March 15 (Saturday) and will be enforced the very next day.
After approval, the new petrol price will be Rs241.47 per litre down from Rs255.63 and high-speed diesel’s new price will be Rs249.94, down from Rs258.64.
