Farhana Maqsood alleges Humayun Saeed scammed her
Pakistani actress and singer Farhana Maqsood recently opened up about a shocking experience from her career, revealing that she felt scammed while working on the film Main Hoon Shahid Afridi.
Speaking candidly in an interview with Yazziastic, Farhana shared the challenges she faced on the project and how she was denied her due recognition.
Farhana disclosed that the project, produced by Humayun Saeed, was not what she had initially signed up for. She revealed that she was told it would be a telefilm, but it unexpectedly turned into a feature film.
Farhana shared that Humayun Saeed did not fulfil his commitment to her on that project.
Despite putting in considerable effort, her name was left out of the official cast list, and she was neither invited to promotional events nor premieres.
“This was my first experience working on a film produced by him,” Farhana said. “I wasn’t correctly briefed about what I was signing up for. I worked hard, but I wasn’t given my due credit on the project.” She emphasized how the experience left her feeling overlooked, despite her dedication to the role.
