Hire good lawyers for good defence in courts, Shahzad tells PML-N
Says govt strategy on Hudaibiya case to be unveiled after Eid
Shahzad Akbar talks to 24News TV channel.
Adviser to PM on Accountability and Interior Shahzad Akbar in a special Eid message to PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said that he should focus on defending himself in the court of law instead of fleeing the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Shahzad Akbar said that Shehbaz Sharif should give application of daily hearing of his cases as the government continues its work even during the Eid holidays.
Advisor to PM on Interior said putting names on ECL is always processed on someone's request on an emergency basis.
He said the government strategy on Hudaibiya Paper Mills case would be unveiled once courts would open after the Eid holidays.
The PM advisor said it is being propagated by the PML-N that the case has not been proved in the court for the time being, but the real test is acquittal of the accused from the court.
Earlier, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry had said that the federal government has directed relevant institutions to reopen the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case.
Fawad Chaudhry, in a statement on Twitter, said: "Hudaibiya [mill's] case is the most important source of corruption of the Sharif family. Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif are the main suspects in this case."
