A man shot his wife dead allegedly over some domestic issue in Sahiwal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Police said that the accused, identified as Asif, was a resident of Khanewal.

“Asif had come to reconcile with his estranged wife Rimsha in Sahiwal. But, in a fit of rage, he opened fire on her,” they added.

“Resultantly, his wife died on the spot while his mother-in-law Shehnaz and brother-in-law sustained critical injuries,” they stated.

“The injured were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Domestic issues between the couple were the reason behind the murder,” they maintained.
