Veteran Pakistani singer Yaqoob Atif (Bulbula Sahib) has passed away in Lahore on Friday after enduring paralysis for a span of two years.

The senior artist’s funeral prayers have been offered at ‘Garhi Shahu’ Lahore.

The grim update regarding Bulbula Sahib’s death has been shared by Pakistani actor Khaled Anam over social media, he has stated: "Yakoob Atif Bulbulla no more. May he rest in peace.”

Yaqoob Atif was a talented Punjabi rap singer who received massive appreciation through his impactful song ‘Pani Da Bulbula’ which ended up acquiring staggering popularity.

The veteran star has appeared in films and and on television whereas he has offered a varying selection of roles ranging from peon to king. 

Yaqoob Atif has appeared in various TV plays including Waris, Andhera Ujala, Aj di Kahani.
