Thirteen martyred as Israeli forces shell in southern Lebanon
At least 13 people have been martyred in renewed Israeli shelling across southern Lebanon, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to Lebanese officials, as cross-border tensions continue to intensify in the region.
Israeli forces carried out a series of strikes in southern Lebanese areas, resulting in multiple casualties, including civilians and emergency response personnel.
Lebanese authorities said five people were martyred in an attack on Nabatieh, among them two rescue workers who were reportedly engaged in emergency operations at the time of the strike.
In a separate incident in Jebshit, four people were martyred, officials said. Another strike on Bint Jbeil left four civilians martyred, including a child and a woman, according to local reports.
Officials confirmed that the total death toll from the three locations stands at 13, with emergency services and civilian populations among those affected.
