Chinese Consul General  Zhao Shiren has said Pakistan Prime Minister's visit to China was very successful, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Sunday.

In his address at a seminar, the Chinese diplomate reposed trust in Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif saying: “Beijing believed Shehbaz Speed would accomplish the task in time.”

He said many agreements were made during Shahbaz Sharif's visit and in the next few years, CPEC will bear fruit.

In the first phase, there will be an end to load-shedding while there will be a revolution in infrastructure, he said adding that in the second phase, there will be an agricultural and industrial revolution.

The CPEC is a joint project of Pakistan and China, they will succeed together, the diplomat stressed adding that Chinese people respect Shehbaz.

The Institute of International Relations and Media Research arranged the seminar which was attended by key figures including Muhammad Mehdi and Sajjad Mir.
