Thousands of Sikh Yatrees from all over the world have arrived in Pakistan to attend 553rd birthday celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak in Kartarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

As many as 2,418 Sikh Yatrees have arrived in Pakistan from India through Wagah border crossing.

Also, 2,000 Sikh Yatrees from London, Canada, United States and Malaysia have also arrived in Pakistan for Guru Nanak’s birthday celebrations.

The Sikh Yatrees will stay in Kartarpur for the whole day and night. They will perform their religious rituals there.

Arrangements on a large scale have been made to provide langar, accommodation, transport and medical facilities to the Sikh Yatrees.

Foolproof security arrangements have also been made in Kartarpur.
