Faiz Ahmed Faiz ancestral house illegally occupied in Narowal

The ancestral house of the Indo-Pak revolutionary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz in Narowal house has been reportedly illegally occupied, reported 24NewsHD TV on Wednesday.
The house is located in village Dharman near Narowal.
In order to retrieve the house, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Punjab Chief Secretary, DC Narowal and other concerned authorities to take action.
Faiz Ahmed Faiz was born on February 13, 1911. He belonged to Sialkot, also the hometown of honorific Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
Faiz completed his law degree at Cambridge and became a friend of Iqbal. Coincidently, the teacher of Fiaz named Sayyid Mir Hasan (renowned scholar) was also the teacher of Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
Faiz Ahmed Faiz has made significant contributions to the world of poetry. Some of his unforgettable works include Subh-e-Azadi, Naqsh-e-Faryadi, Dast-e-Sabah and Zindan-Nama.
In addition to his expertise in poetry, Faiz also established himself as a journalist and worked as an editor of many newspapers.
