Section 144 imposed in all districts of Rawalpindi Division

Section 144 was imposed in the Rawalpindi Division in light of the instructions of the provincial government, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday. 
Section 144 was imposed in view of the current law and order situation in the country.
A complete ban has been imposed on all types of political, religious or social gatherings, sit-ins, meetings, processions, rallies, demonstrations and protest activities in all districts of Rawalpindi Division.
This measure has been taken to protect the lives and properties of the people, ensure peace and public order of citizens.
Police, Rangers and other law enforcement agencies are on full alert and ready to deal with any possible threat or law violation at all times. 
All agencies are performing their duties in coordination with the local administration to maintain law and order.
People are requested not to leave their homes unnecessarily, keeping in view the seriousness of the situation, and cooperate fully with the law enforcement agencies.
Strict action will be taken against violators as per the law, which may include arrest, registration of cases and other legal punishments.
People should prove themselves to be responsible citizens and not listen to rumors. They should report any suspicious activity immediately to the nearest police station or district control room.
