Imam-e-Kaaba appeals for support of Pakistani flood victims

Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Abdul Rehman Al Sudais offered prayers for the flood victims of Pakistan as millions have become homeless and livestocks died due to the deadly floods that hit one-third of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sheikh Abdul Rehman Al Sudais appealed Saudi citizens to come forward and ensure aid supplies for Pakistan’s flood victims.
In a statement, Imam-e-Kaaba said that helping the flood victims of Pakistan is a religious duty.
Sheikh praised the initiative of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to approve the collection of donations for the flood victims.
“Pakistanis are our religious brothers. We have a deep historical relations with them. Saudi leadership has always helped Muslim countries in difficult times,” he commented.
