Veteran PTV actor Ishrat Abbas passes away after cardiac arrest

Renowned Pakistan Television (PTV) actor Ishrat Abbas passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in Peshawar, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.  

His funeral prayer was held Saturday morning at the Government College Ground in Faqirabad, Peshawar, where relatives, admirers, and a large number of personalities from the showbiz industry gathered to pay their respects.

Ishrat Abbas was considered among the most prominent artists of PTV, having devoted the greater part of his life to the state broadcaster.

Over a remarkable career spanning more than four decades, he earned admiration for his memorable performances in Urdu, Pashto, and Hindko dramas.

His powerful acting style left a lasting impression on audiences, and his iconic dramas continue to live in the memories of fans.

He was the recipient of the Presidential Pride of Performance Award, a testament to his outstanding artistry and lifelong dedication.
