Amar Khan applauds Durefishan’s powerful portrayal of woman devastated by love
Pakistani actress and filmmaker Amar Khan has showered praise on Durefishan Saleem for her emotionally charged performance in the latest episode of Dar-e-Nijat, admitting that the heartbreaking sequence left her furious with the drama’s male lead played by Nameer Khan.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Amar shared a clip from the latest episode, which featured an intense emotional breakdown by Durefishan’s character, Zaryab, after Zamil’s mistreatment and abandonment.
Reacting to the powerful scene, Amar lauded Durefishan for convincingly portraying the agony of a woman devastated by love.
“Dear Durefishan, you absolutely nailed the agony of a woman devastated in love,” Amar wrote.
She went on to express her frustration over Zamil’s treatment of Zaryab, adding a humorous yet furious remark about the character’s actions.
“May all the women gather enough strength to puke on the face of every Zamil. I felt so disgusted watching this,” she penned.
Amar admitted that the character had infuriated her so much that she deliberately avoided tagging actor Nameer Khan, who plays Zamil.
“I hated Zamil so much in this scene that I don’t want to tag Nameer… which also means he has done full justice to this character,” she remarked.
Despite her frustration with Zamil, Amar made sure to acknowledge Nameer’s performance, congratulating him for making the character so convincing that viewers could genuinely despise him.
“So please pass my congrats to him. Such a well-written and directed scene!” she added.
Amar’s reaction echoed that frustration while simultaneously highlighting the strength of the performances behind the characters.
