Love marriage dispute: Suspects set house, shops on fire in Khairpur

Suspects allegedly set a house and shops on fire in Tando Masti area of Khairpur following a dispute over a young man’s alleged love marriage.

According to the details, the suspects allegedly torched the house and shop belonging to Amjad Phulpoto in the outskirts of Tando Masti, within the jurisdiction of Economic Zone Police Station.

Amjad is accused of taking a girl from her home and marrying her of his own choice,

The complainants alleged that the suspects carried out the attack close to the police station while police allegedly remained silent spectators.

A report of the incident has been registered, while further investigation is underway.
