The Punjab government on Monday transferred and posted 19 senior police officers.

According to a notification issued by the S&GAD, Sardar Ali Khan (PSP/BS-21), Additional Inspector General of Police, Welfare & Finance at CPO in Lahore, Punjab, was transferred and directed to report to the Services & General Administration Department, Government of the Punjab, till further orders.

Tariq Masood Yasin (PSP/ BS-21), Additional Inspector General  of Police, Training, CPO Punjab, was transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police, Welfare & Finance, CPO, Punjab, vice Sardar All Khan.

Shahid Hanif (PSP/BS-21), Additional Inspector General of Police, Elite Police Force, Punjab, was transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police, Training, CPO Punjab, vice Tariq Masood Yasin.

Ghulam Rasool Zahid (PSP/BS-21), Additional Inspector General of Police, Logistics & Procurement, CPO Punjab, was transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police, Research & Development, CPO Punjab. The post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Research & Development, CPO, Punjab, shall remain upgraded to BS-21 as personal to him.

Ali Aamir Malik (PSP/BS-21), awaiting posting in Services & General Administration Department, Government of the Punjab, was transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police, Logistics & Procurement, CPO Punjab vice Ghulam Rasool Zahid.

Muhammad Farooq Mazhar (PSP/BS-21), Regional Police Officer, Sheikhupura, was transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police, Elite Police Force, vice Shahid Hanif.

Fayyaz Ahmed Dev (PSP/85-20), Regional Police Officer, Bahawalpur, was promoted to BPS-21, in that service, on a regular basis, in Punjab in pursuance of Establishment Division, Islamabad's Notification F.No.2(4)/2018-E-3 (Police) dated 25.03.2020, and upon such promotion he was transferred and posted Additional Inspector General of Police, Investigation Branch, Punjab, relieving Azhar Hameed Khokhar (PSP/BS-21) of the additional charge of the post.

Capt (R) Ehsan Tufail (PSP/BS-20), Commandant of Police Training College, Lahore, was promoted to BS-21 in that service on a regular basis in pursuance of Establishment Division, Islamabad’s notification F.No.2(4)/2018-E-3 (Police) dated 25.03.2020, and upon such promotion he was allowed to continue as Commandant of Police Training College, Lahore. He shall remain upgraded to BS-21 as personal to him.

Sahibzada Muhammad Shahzad Sultan (PSP/BS-20), awaiting posting in S&GAD, Government of the Punjab, was promoted to BS-21, in that service, on regular basis, in pursuance of Establishment Division, Islamabad’s Notification F.No.2(4)/2018-E-3 (Police), dated 27.03.2020, and upon such promotion he was transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Police, Traffic, Punjab to actualize his promotion. The post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Traffic, Punjab, shall remain upgraded to BS-21 as personal to him.

Muhammad Tahir (PSP/BS-20), Additional Inspector General of Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Punjab, in his own pay & scale, was promoted to BS-21, in that service, on regular basis, in pursuance of Establishment Division, Islamabad’s Notification F.No.2(4)/2018-E-3 (Police), dated 27.03.2020, and upon such promotion he was allowed to continue as Additional Inspector General of Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Punjab.

Tariq Abbas Qureshi (PSP/BS-20), awaiting posting in S&GAD, Government of the Punjab, was transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Highway Patrol, Punjab, Lahore, relieving Muhammad Inksaar Khan Afghan (PSP/BS-20 of the additional charge of the post.

Shahid Javed (PSP/BS-20), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Telecommunication and Transport, Punjab, was transferred and posted as Regional Police Officer, Sheikhupura vice Muhammad Farooq Mazhar (PSP/BS-21), who was transferred.

Akbar Nasir Khan (PSP/BS-19), Chief Operating Officer, Punjab Safe Cities Authority, was transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Telecommunication and Transport, Punjab, in his own pay and scale, vice Shahid Javed (PSP/BS-20), who was transferred.

Dr Muhammad Akhtar Abbas (PSP/BS-20), Deputy Commandant, Punjab Constabulary, Farooqabad, was transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Elite Police Force, Punjab, vice Muhammad Inksaar Khan Afghan (PSP/BS-20), who was transferred.

Muhammad Inksaar Khan Afghan (PSP/BS-20), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Elite Police Force, Punjab, was transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, Punjab Constabulary, Farooqabad, vice Dr Muhammad Akhtar Abbas (PSP/BS-20) who was transferred.

Zubair Ahmad Dareshak (PSP/BS-20), City Police Officer, Multan, was transferred and posted as Regional Police Officer, Bahawalpur, Vice Fayyaz Ahmad Dev (PSP/BS-20), who was transferred.

Mehbodb Rashid (PSP/BS-19), SSP/Battalion Commander No.4, Punjab Constabulary, Faisalabad, was promoted to BS-20, in that service, on regular basis, in pursuance of Establishment Division, Islamabad’s Notification F.No.2(5)/2018-E-3 (Police), dated 20.03.2020, and upon such promotion he was transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Security Division, Lahore, against the vacant post, relieving Rai Babar Saeed (PSP/BS-20), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Operations, Lahore of the additional charge of the post.

Ghulam Mehmood Dogar (PSP/BS-20), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Information Technology, CPO Punjab, was transferred.

Waqas Nazir (PSP/BS-20), awaiting posting in S&GAD, Government of the Punjab, was transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Information Technology, CPO Punjab, vice Ghulam Mehmood Dogar (PSP/BS-20), who has been transferred.
