The federal ministers had a brawl in a cabinet meeting over gas supply projects, sources said on Tuesday.

Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari questioned how Pervaiz Khatak got approved gas schemes for his constituency.

She asked why gas schemes were being approved only in KP when other parts are being deprived of due rights.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar and Umer Ayub also launched gas schemes. Asad launched the projects in Swabi last month. 

The federal government has approved 61 gas schemes for KP, 17 for Punjab and just one for Islamabad.
