Fire rips through shopping center in Khairpur

Clothes, bangles, make-up kits and other items worth millions of rupees were feared to have been reduced to ashes after fire erupted at Karachi Cloth House Center at Mall Road in Khairpur on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In no time fire spread and engulfed a large part of the shopping center.
Rescue 1122 and fire brigade teams were making efforts to douse the flames till last reports came in.
However, the presence of high voltage electric wires created difficulties for the firefighters battling the blaze.
The concerned officials, on the other hand, said that short-circuit was probably the reason for the incident.
