Pakistan to provide free Saudi SIM cards to Hajj pilgrims

The federal government has decided to provide Saudi SIM cards to Hajj pilgrims without any charges, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, for a 40-day stay in Saudi Arabia, 600 local and international minutes and 40 GB of internet will be allotted to the Hajj pilgrim, and 300 local and international minutes will be allotted to the Hajj pilgrims on a short stay.

The cards will provide call receiving and dialing facilities. Only one SIM will be issued on one passport.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said that if the consumer will purchase anyone SIM, then the SIM facility will be withdrawn.

The special counters will be established for the Hajj pilgrims for recharging their mobile phones. The package will be recharged if the balance expires.
