Rs668 million released to Lahore hospitals for free medicines

The Punjab Finance Department has released a budget for free medicines at government hospitals in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to notification, Mayo Hospital has been released with Rs150 million for free medicines.
Moreover, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has been released with Rs14 million while Jinnah Hospital has been released with Rs54 million.
Similarly, Punjab Institute of Cardialgy (PIC) Hospital has been released with Rs450 million for free medicines to heart patients.
The Finance Department has made this budget available online in the hospitals’ accounts.
