Sindh CM Murad, Opp Leader to meet again to decide on interim CM
Following the failure of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Raana Ansaar to agree on the candidate for the seat of provincial caretaker chief minister, both are meeting today to reach a consensus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Sources told 24News that the name of Justice (r) Maqbool Baqar is stated to be the most favourite.
Besides Baqir, PPP has also put forward the names of Mumtaz Ali Shah and Siddique Memon, they added.
Sources revealed that the opposition, on the other hand, had proposed the names of Shoaib Siddiqui, Younus Dhaga and Fazlullah Qureshi.
Jam Karam Ali’s name is also being mentioned as a possible candidate for the seat, they informed.
Sources further said that Sindh chief minister had met with party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other party leaders to discuss the issue.
