Train crushes woman, granddaughter in Pakpattan

A train travelling from Lahore to Karachi met an accident at Pakpattan on Thursday, in which an old woman and her granddaughter were crushed to death, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The little girl was playing on the railway track near Chak Azmat when Farid Express chugged near her. Seeing the granddaughter in danger the grandma rushed towards her, but both were caught by the train and crushed to death.
The deceased were identified as 60-year-old Maryam and five-year-old Insha, said sources in Rescue 1122.
