Usman Mukhtar backs Zara Noor Abbas amidst restaurant dispute over her child’s screams
Pakistani actor Usman Mukhtar has extended support and apology to Zara Noor Abbas on behalf of the ‘Noise Police Karens’ who raised objections over her toddler’s screams and overly excited behavior at a restaurant. Slamming the ladies, the actor uploaded a strong-worded statement, sarcastically addressing those expecting complete silence from children.
“On behalf of all the Noise Police Karens who think toddlers should sit silently like tiny monks while they chew on their kale, I apologise. Now, to the Karens, I'm sorry, did a toddler's existence ruin your overpriced pasta experience? Should we ask her to suppress all signs of life until you've finished your crème brulée? Newsflash! toddlers scream, drop spoons, and occasionally attempt interpretive dance mid bite. It's called childhood. If that ruins your risotto, maybe the problem isn't the child, it's you! If you wanted silence, you should've booked a table at the library. This just pissed me off so much!” the actor wrote.
Zara Noor Abbas has shared the latest incident happened to her at a restaurant where she engaged in heated arguments with three women who complained about her toddler Noor e Jahan’s overly excited behavior and asked her not to bring her child out.
Taking to her Instagram story, Zara shared that she went out for dinner, where some women sitting next to a table had an issue with her daughter’s screaming, and they even showed her death stares for the same.
The actress shared that initially she did get their problem, but when the baby girl screamed again, they made a sound to hush her up, which led her to send the daughter aside and ask them about the whole issue.
