Ken Doll questions Tamasha 5’s disturbing content, urges parents to stay alert
Pakistani beauty influencer Adnan Zafar, popularly known as Ken Doll, has raised serious concerns over the content being showcased in reality show Tamasha 5, urging parents to think twice before allowing young children to watch the programme.
Taking to Instagram, Ken Doll shared a video reacting to an episode of the reality show, particularly objecting to aggressive remarks and behavior that he believes contradict the programme’s own rules.
Recalling the rules announced at the beginning of the season, he pointed out that contestants were reportedly warned against disrespectful behavior, offensive remarks and racist comments. However, he questioned how such guidelines could be enforced when contestants allegedly use harsh and threatening language against one another.
“Is this normal for you people?” Ken Doll questioned, expressing particular concern over remarks directed at a female contestant, including statements such as “spit on you” and “I wish you die.”
He also addressed what he described as a severe emotional “meltdown” displayed by a contestant, expressing concern over aggressive and self harming behavior shown on screen.
According to Ken Doll, such incidents should not simply become material for memes or entertainment. He urged the channel and relevant authorities to treat the matter responsibly rather than normalizing behavior that could potentially influence younger viewers.
“Please apnay bachon ko ye cheez dekhne na dein,” he urged, stressing that children can be influenced by what they repeatedly see on television and online.
The influencer further called on parents to monitor the content their children consume, arguing that young minds can absorb behaviors, language and attitudes from the entertainment they watch.
Ken Doll also appealed to broadcasters and regulatory authorities, including PEMRA, to take notice of what he described as disturbing content and ensure that reality television does not cross the line between entertainment and harmful behavior.
Tamasha is one of Pakistan’s most prominent reality television franchises, bringing a group of celebrities and public figures together under one roof where they compete in tasks, nominations and eliminations while their interpersonal dynamics become a major part of the show.
The fifth season has once again attracted considerable attention for its heated confrontations, emotional moments and dramatic exchanges, with clips from the Tamasha Ghar frequently circulating across social media.
