Four die after van crashes into shop in Kot Addu 

Four people were killed while over 12 were seriously injured after a speeding passenger van hit a tractor-trolley before going on to crash into a shop at Sanawan in district Kot Addu on Saturday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to reports, four passengers died instantly. 

Rescue 1122 personnel rushed to the site and shifted the dead as well as the injured to hospitals at Sanawan and Kot Addu.

Most of the injured were stated to be in critical condition.  

Also on Saturday, a man was killed in Kabirwala after his shawl got entangled in the chain of his rickshaw at Jhang Road. 

The deceased, Ghazanfar, a resident of Maula Pur, was returning with his family from a wedding ceremony when the incident occurred. 

Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the body to a hospital.

Ghazanfar was stated to be without one hand.
