PM sends summary to President for convening joint session of Parliament

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sent a summary to the President to convene a joint session of Parliament, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to parliamentary sources, a summary was sent to convene a joint session on December 17 at 11 am.

A possibility of approval of 8 bills, including registration of religious schools.

Consultation between the government and JUI on a new bill related to the registration of religious schools is ongoing, sources said.
